EVACUATION RECIPIENTS understand that they will
hold harmless and
without liability HorsePlayCentral, all of it's entities, and proprieties,
Ventura County, and the State of California completely and without
exception, including but not limited to damage to property, physical
injury, loss of limb, or life, human or otherwise.
Volunteers are acting of
their own accord and at their own risk during the time of an
evacuation. Volunteers are NOT employees or agents of
HorsePlayCentral or it's entities nor are they employees or agents of
any Ventura County or State of California agency.
*This data base is NOT
intended for solicitations of any kind. Any one found to be using
this data base for misrepresentation, or contacts anyone on our list
posing as a representative of HorsePlayCentral or as a representative of
Ventura County Animal Regulation or any other Ventura County, or State
Agency fraudulently will be prosecuted. We pride ourselves on
protecting the privacy of our volunteers and maintaining a good
reputation within our community. Any and all instances of
misappropriation of information will NOT be tolerated.**
**The intention of this
database is to provide a central information base for large animal
owners to safely and effectively remove their livestock from harms way,
be it fire, flood or any other acts of nature that will require
evacuation of large animals.
This database is not
intended for use in constructing mailing lists, obtaining phone numbers,
names or addresses for the purpose of solicitation to buy or sell
products or services of any nature.***
***It is the responsibility
of all volunteers to notify us in the event of anyone posing as a representative
of HorsePlayCentral or posing as a representative of any Ventura County
or State Agency contacts you from information they have obtained from
this database for any reason other than for what it is intended.
It is the responsibility of
all volunteers to notify us of any changes in the information you have
provided. If we call upon you for your assistance and changes in
your capabilities and lifestyles hamper our efforts in providing victims
with a quick and trustworthy response, you will be dropped from the list
IMMEDIATELY, and a re-certification process will be required.
